The Morning Call, Pennsylvania
"Ab the Flagman has been making flag art since
the early 1990s, but since Sept. 11, his paintings
have carried a new urgency. Collectors buy them for
both a love of the art and a sense of patriotism or
as a memory of a lost friend or family member." |

Review: X Miss Americas - Self Titled
"With a debut self-titled relase, the X Miss
Americas bring a distinctive blend of soul and Americana
to the annals of Southern rock by delivering a socially
conscious message backed by terribly amusing lyrics.
On its self-issued debut release, the group forms
a high-octane groove, churning out meaningful songs
about love, life, and everything that falls in between.
From the opening song, the CD is pumped full of country-fried
funk spun from a combinatin of heavy rhythms, jazz
piano and a howling harmonica . . . " |
